A Story in the Spider and Fly Universe
The second story of the pair, although really the first (go figure?). Both these tales developed out of one basic idea, that's been kicking around in my head for some considerable time now. I had almost completed writing this one when the idea for "that scene" jumped into my head and that dictated the second scenario. There was just no-way that I couldn't write it!
Snow is an unusual young boy raised in the mountains by his mother, a famous fighter and tracker. He spends his childhood isolated from the world learning his mothers craft until one day a rougue bear changes everything. Suddenly Snow is plauged by questions, Why did this bear seem to hunt his mother down? Why is the bear already half decomposed when he finds it? And is his shocking white hair and Glacial eyes just a freak of nature or perhaps a legacy of something greater?
A knight astride a horse with a grudge. Whatever you do, do not give him his head!
